Aspen had a fun day today for the last day of school. They had a talent show, and also did plays. Aspen and her friend did "The princess & the pea" of course Aspen was the princess. It was really cute. Then each student was aloud to do a talent. Aspen and Alexa practiced a dance all week to Hanna Montana - Weve got the party. It was so cute. When she sat down after the dance, she was shaking she was so nervous. Now on to 3rd grade!! Oh yea, I just want to make mention that when I got Aspen's report card this week, she is reading at a 4.5 which is fourth grade, fifth month!!! HOLY COW does this girl love to read. Great job Aspie!!

JOSEPH MADE IT!!!
Tonight was a huge accomplishment for our brother from another mother. Joseph graduated from "Copper Canyon High School". This was the first graduating class of the school. With alot of help from all his extended family and friends he's done it. I am so proud of Joseph for sticking it out and finishing with all of the illnesses that were put in his way. We love you JoJo or Jofis (Abby's version) we knew you could do it. Here are a few pictures of Joseph. If I can figure out how to down load pictures from phones I will post the graduation pictures later.

Challenger Space Center
I went with Alexa on a field trip to the Challenger Space Center this week. It is a replica of "mission control" in Houston and a "space shuttle". Each one of the kids in her class had a different job. Alexa's job was "Data" which was the person in charge of sending and recieveing messeges from the shuttle. She really had the hardest job. It was very busy, and stressful trying to keep up with the demand and the short time period they had to launch a probe into a comet. But they were successful in their mission. Way to go team.
Look at what I've done!!
Are these the best looking children on the face of the earth or what? Okay maybe one of them is being a turkey, and another one is filthy dirty. But I'll cut them a break, because I LOVE THESE KIDS. I am soooo greatful for healthy, energetic, obedient, loving children. My life is blessed everyday by them. Mother's Day was so fun just hanging out with our mother's and our families. My children treated me to a fabulous massage for mother's day this year. Boy was it needed, and enjoyed. Thanks so much for all your love you guys rock!!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
I just wanted to say how greatful I am to have such a wonderful mother.
In this picture you can see we are both picture taking challenged. My sister was trying to take our picture and each time we took one, one of us had our eyes closed or a goofy look on our face. After a million try's I came to the conclusion that the funny looking pictures are the cutest!!
My mom has always been there for me, always been the rock in our house. She has supported me through it all. Cheering me all the way!! Either at Rodeos, Softball games, Track meets or church activities. Now that I'm grown and a parent she is truly my best friend. I used to wonder how my mom and my grandma Opal could be the best of friends, always talking on the phone. Meeting for lunch, going on trips. Now I realize that it is possible. When you share marriages, births, children, church and life with each other you develop that bond. Thanks mom for all of your love and support. You truly are the BEST MOM EVER!!!

CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
This winter it was one of those day's were you just crave warm soup. So me and ABBY started cooking. After chopping carrots she asked if she could give the rest of the carrots to the "DONKEY'S" (yes grandpa has donkey's). When she was gone for a while I went out to check on her, this is what I saw.
She was all bent over talking to JERRY. I asked her what she was doing, and her reply was, " he is sad, the other donkey's ate all of the carrots. Sooo cute because if you look closely at a donkey, they do have a sad look kinda like EEORE. She decided that another carrot would fix the gloom. Abby loves playing with the donkey's the Mommy is "Jenny", the Daddy is "Jerry" and the new baby is "Joan". Although it took her awhile to realize that the baby donkey wasnt tring to bite her. She just thinks her hair looks like straw and will follow her around nibbling at her hair.
