OOOOPSS!! Have you ever felt an inch tall? Well today Aspen had a Butterfly party for the "Parents" to see all the work they have done raising a butterfly and writing a report and PowerPoint presentation. Guess who was the only one of two parents not to show up??? That's right me. When Aspen came home from school she was so sad that she couldn't tell me what was wrong. Finally after at least a 1/2 hour she started to cry and said I forgot the Party, and then ran to the bed and balled. I was devastated that I broke her heart. I promise I wrote the date of the party on the calendar wrong, I put it on next Thursday. But it doesn't matter, she was embarrassed in class and so upset for my forgetfulness. After alot of TLC she forgave me, but the guilt is still lingering in me. So for one more plee for leniency Steve & I took her out to DAIRY QUEEN.
